Vintage Bronze Ox Topped Gourd Shape Sculpture in Fitted Raw Silk Covered Wood Box. Measures: Sculpture: 13" tall" x 6" diameter; Box: 18" x 8" x 8".

Weighs: Sculpture: 3 lb 1.1 oz; Box: 6 lb 4 oz; Total = 9lb 5 oz. This Unusual Chinese Bronze Gourd Shaped Sculpture is Topped with the Figure of an Ox (for year of the Ox). It Features 2 Circle Based Geometric Cut Outs On the Front and is Decorated on the Side with Hieroglyphics (Chinese Oracle Bone Script)(Please See Photo #9). The Entire Piece is Heavily Patinaed and in Very Good Condition. This Sculpture is Presented in a Beautiful Heavy Wood Fitted Storage Box, Covered in a Taupe Colored Raw Silk.

The Box is Heavily Padded to Cradle the Sculpture and Lined in Grey Taffeta (Please See Photo #19). The Box Has Exquisite Bone Carved Closures (Please See Photos #14, 15, 16). The Box is in Very Good Condition; The Lower Corner on the Cover is Slightly Warped (Please See Photo #15). No dents, scratches or repairs. Storage box slightly warped on lower corner, otherwise very good contion.
