Vintage Chinese Wood Carving Figurine of Official with Ruyi Scepter 21.6 cm
A hand carved figure of an official from the Ming period with his ruyi that was made in the Republic period. The carving is good with nice detail in the beard and face.
The wood has been stained a darker color. You can see the original color on the ends of the feet. There are no marks or labels. 8 ½" (21.6 cm) tall x 2 ¼" (5.7 cm) wide x 2 (5.1 cm) deep.
